Enabling early and accurate diagnosis of Mesenteric Vascular Disease (MVD)

Mesenteric Vascular Disease is a hard-to-detect and deadly condition. Every 30 minutes of delay in emergency room diagnosis increases the mortality rate from MVD by about 5%, and the medical community has been calling for a rapid diagnostics solution to MVD for the last 30+ years.

Our team has designed and validated a biomarker for blood tests that allows early diagnosis.

In collaboration with our medical partners, we have developed a magnetic bead-based assay to validate a novel biomarker for blood tests that allow early diagnosis of Mesenteric Vascular Disease.

We are developing a screening test based on this biomarker which enables rapid diagnosis of Mesenteric Vascular Disease. We anticipate a mortality rate reduction from our test of up to 75% and we think we can save more than $6bil annually to IDNs and healthcare providers in our core markets (which are the USA and Western Europe).
